HOLIDAY HELPER’S WAREHOUSE

DELIVERY DIRECTIONS & DONATION SUGGESTIONS

 

Please deliver your donations to the Holiday Helper’s Warehouse, 500 Ellinwood Way, Pleasant Hill, CA 94523, on Friday, December 10th at your appointed time. If you are unable to deliver, please call Volunteer & Emergency Services at (925) 335-2190.

 

To reach Holiday Helpers’ Warehouse, take Highway 680, exit on Sunvalley Blvd, and go west toward Contra Costa Blvd. Turn left on Contra Costa Blvd., and then left on Ellinwood Drive. Continue straight to Ellinwood Way. Turn left on Ellinwood Way, and just before Chevy’s, turn right into the driveway. 500 Ellinwood is the second building.

 

ITEMS NEEDED FOR HOLIDAY HELPER’S

Please donate new, unwrapped gifts in a price range of $15 to $50. We would like to focus our gifts this year on toys, hoodies/jackets, teen gifts, and blankets. We do not need books this year. Other good gift suggestions are:

 

·        New clothes for children from birth through ten including: blanket sleepers, socks, thermal underwear, sweats, school clothes, jeans, pj’s, flannel shirts, warm jackets

·        Back-packs, pencil boxes filled with supplies, developmental toys

·        Lego’s, wooden blocks, shape sorters, puzzles, peg boards

·        Piggy banks with change, dolls, tea party sets, inexpensive watches

·        Food gift cards from major grocery chains with stores throughout Contra Costa County.

·        $20 Gift certificates from shoe, clothing and music stores

·        Sport equipment.

·        Board games, craft kits, art and craft supplies

·        Walkman CD player/radio & batteries, action figures

 

Toys should be new, sturdy, well made, non-violent and NOT battery operated.

 

Cash donations are very important for last minute special needs shopping. (Please make checks payable to VESTIA, Inc.
